Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark

This stuff is sooo addicting!  A delicious combo of sweet and salty that will have you reaching for more and more!

Salted Caramel Pretzel Bark

  • 1/2 bag of mini pretzel twists
  • 2 sticks of butter (1 cup)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Sea Salt
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Line a large cookie sheet with parchment paper, and add a single layer of pretzels down.  Break a few to fit in the open spaces to cover sheet well.

In a saucepan, melt butter and the brown sugar together until the sugar is dissolved.  Bring to a gentle boil and allow mixture to thicken up while stirring until it forms a nice smooth caramel.

Remove from heat and pour evenly over the top of the pretzels.  Spread lightly with a spatula. Don't worry if all the pretzels aren't fully covered.  Put in oven and bake for 5 minutes.

Take out of oven and sprinkle chocolate chips all over the top.  Return cookie sheet to oven for 1-2 minutes or until the chocolate chips soften up and begin to melt.

Spread chocolate evenly using a spatula.  Sprinkle with Sea Salt.

Let cool for a few minutes, then place in freezer for at least 1-2 hours.  Best served straight from the freezer!  Break into desired serving sizes with your hands, making sure no paper is stuck on the bottom of any pieces.  Enjoy!
